WARRIORS OPEN PLAYOFFS AT HOME

   The Warriors will open the 1A South Region playoffs at Stancill Field Friday when Forrestville makes the 90-plus-minute trek north from Prince George’s County for the 4 p.m. first pitch. The Warriors earned a No. 7 seed with Forrestville getting the No. 10 seed in the random draw by the MPSSAA.

   Should the Warriors win, they would visit No. 2 seed Glenelg of Howard County Monday afternoon.
